Our Mission

Women's Tattoo Collective centres and advances women in the tattoo industry through women-led education, connection and community. We exist to reduce isolation, strengthen professional relationships, and create spaces where women can learn from one another and grow together. 

While our work is centred on women, we welcome artists of all genders who are committed to learning from, supporting and standing alongside women in the tattoo industry.

Connection

Tattooing can be isolating, especially in an industry where artists are separated by shops, cities and regions. Women's Tattoo Collective exists to bring women together across those distances and experiences, fostering meaningful connections rooted in shared understanding.

By creating opportunities to network, collaborate and gather in person, we help build community that leads to new relationships, experiences, opportunities and support. Through our annual meetups and centralized online presence, we aim to build peer communities where women feel seen, understood and supported in their unique experiences, challenges and goals.

Education

Women's Tattoo Collective prioritizes personal growth, artistic development, and professional sustainability. Through women-led seminars, workshops, and our annual conference, we create spaces for artists to learn new skills, share knowledge, and grow alongside peers. Our educational programming is designed to empower women to lead, while inviting artists of all genders to participate with respect, openness, and shared commitment to equity in the industry.
